Creative restoration has turned it into a very special place for two.

Many years ago, this barn (adjoining Poorman’s Cot) was used as a place to press the apples from the farm’s orchards to make cider. Now, thoughtful and creative restoration has turned it into a very special place for two.

The ground floor comprises of an open-plan lounge/dining area with sofa, flat screen television, DVD player & a selection of DVD’s.  Central heating and a woodburning stove with ample logs supplied free of charge will keep you cosy on those wintry evenings. French windows lead out to a secluded garden.

The newly re-furbished well-equipped fitted kitchen area has an electric oven hob, fridge, washer-dryer and microwave and all the cooking utensils & crockery that you might need for your stay.

  • The bathroom is situated on the ground floor and has a bath with power shower, wash-basin, toilet and airing cupboard.
  • Organic hand & bath towels are supplied.
  • Upstairs tucked away beneath the beams you will find a galleried bedroom area, comfy double bed, feather duvet & organic bedlinen. The perfect hideaway for two.
