Welcome to Highdown, our organic dairy farm, peacefully situated in the heart of the beautiful Devon countryside, the perfect base for a relaxing break and exploring the rest of Devon.

   Our family has farmed here since 1991 and the whole farm has been organic since 1996.

We have two holiday cottages, both with stunning views stretching across our fields, the Culm Valley & far beyond.  

Situated close together and sleeping up to 10 guests, the cottages are ideal for family gatherings & friendly get togethers.

Two holiday cottages peacefully situated and surrounded by farmland with stunning views overlooking the Culm Valley & far beyond. Perfect for both couples and families to take time out and relax.  Children can have fun in our play area with swings, slide, trampoline & football goal.

A Perfect Base For Exploring Devon

Situated in the very heart of Devon, Highdown Farm Holiday Cottages are ideally situated for exploring the rest of the county.  The stunning Jurassic Coast, Dartmoor & Exmoor National Parks are all within easy reach.  Killerton House, Diggerland, Quadworld & The Bear Trail are only a 10 minute drive away.

Our Farm

Come and explore our organic dairy farm.  Watch the milking , discover lovely walks through our farmland and local public footpaths, spotting wildlife along the way.   Make friends with our two ponies, goats & chickens.

Discover our range of places suitable for everyone

Families, friends & couples are very welcome at Highdown.  Poorman’s Cot sleeps four – ideal for small families whilst The Old Farmhouse is much larger and  sleeps 8 – great for larger family/friendly get togethers. The Cider Barn is a perfect hideaway for couples.   All three cottages can be hired together sleeping 14 guests in total – ideal for larger groups and celebrations.
